Kocmánek, Tomáš ; Zach, Jiří (referee) ; Nevřivová, Lenka (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on color correction of brick body. There are examples of pigments commonly used in various industrial fields, as well as studies on the use of waste products as additives in brickmaking industry, altering, among other things, the color of the brick body. In the experimental part of the thesis the effect of three selected ferric pigments and two selected correction clays on the color and selected physico-mechanical properties of the brick body was investigated.
Color Correction for 3D scanner and 3D printer
Kratochvíla, Michael ; Dorazil, Jan (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with color correction of a chain that starts with the 3D Artec MHT scanner, and ends with the 3D printers (CJP – Color Jet Printing technology). In principle, it is necessary to control the color interpretation of the entire chain from the scanning of real models to the 3D print model. With color properties and their color shade, including color textures. The principle of model surface scanning using a 3D scanner is in the same principle as photo camera which scans using a conventional CMOS chip. For this reason, color palettes were scanned using the photo camera and the resulting digital data were analyzed by the Darktable software. This analysis consisted of comparing the scanned color shades of the surface with the spectrofotometer measured data. The main goal of this method was to achieve color precision in the digital data during their acquirement, adjustment and interpretation. Then the same principle was applied to the data acquired by the 3D scanner to create an ICC profile of the 3D scanner. Because the 3D printer (CJP – Color Jet Printing) uses the same principle as the 2D printer, the 2D printing device calibration principle was used again to calibrate it. There have been defined procedures that adjust the color shade to the spectrophotometrically correct shades of the resulting print on a 3D printer. Color swatches were also printed for print quality verification. It has been found that with photo camera, which was used for objective measurement in the L*a*b* coordinates of independent space, any color setting and their adjustment is very sensitive to even small imprecisions. It has been found that it is not easy to obtain accurate colors within the Detla E

Simulation of the sound transfer via human ear
Hájek, Petr ; Švancara, Pavel (referee) ; Pellant, Karel (advisor)
The presented thesis concerns the biomechanics of hearing. The main aim of this work is the determination of so called corrections which allow for the comparison of synthetic audiograms and measured audiograms. With these corrections we attempt to overcome the discrepancy that exists between the computational modelling and audiological measurement. The discrepancy lies in a fact that the computational modelling usually simulates the sound coming from a free eld to the external auditory canal, while audiological measurement is realized by audiological headphones, whether the auditory system is healthy or injured. Then corrections adjust the computational model so that the obtained result is comparable to audiological measurement. In this work is also addressed the influence of stapes kinematics to the excitation of basilar membrane. The movement of stapes consists of piston-like movement and rocking movement. The computational simulation shows which movement is more signicant for the excitation of basilar membrane and how this effect can be used in otosurgery, in particular, for type IV of tympanoplasty.
Lens Distortion Correction
Doležel, Michal ; Seeman, Michal (referee) ; Šiler, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with methods of removing digital photographies aberrations caused by photographical lens distortions. It describes the most frequent lens aberrations, deals with their causes, followed by consequences of these aberrations on destination pictures and ways of their removing from digital photographies. The main goal of the thesis is to design and implement tools for removing lens distortions aberrations from a digital photography. The application was created in C++ programming language with the support of Cimg and Imagemagick libraries. The application was also developed and tested for MS Windows XP and Linux Kubuntu 7.10 operation systems. The results are compared with professional tools for digital photography processing.
Quantification of Relaxation Time T1 in DCE-MRI
Vitouš, Jiří ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Jiřík, Radovan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with methods of T1 relaxation time quantification and B1 magnetic field inhomogeneities corrections. For purposes of the required measurements, the phantom was created using a 3D printer. Firstly the thesis presents information about a given theme, then it hands out the results of measurements taken using standard quantification methods. These methods are consequently analyzed and compared. Next part of the bachelor thesis deals with the fast method based on a variable flip angle (VFA), which needs a magnetic field B1 correction maps to give reasonable T1 estimates. For this purpose, two methods of B1 correction are presented. The first method is a double angle method and second is based on mapping magnetic field B1 using a reference T1 map. To decide which T1 map of which method should be used as a reference, a simple simulation is proposed, which describes the impact of unfavorable effects, such as B1 itself, on the T1 estimate of standard methods. In the end, the conclusions are made and the results of VFA methods are compared with standard methods of quantification.
Use of laser machines for engraving
Bernátek, Vojtěch ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis covers laser engraving machines topic. In the theoretical part, it briefly covers laser technology and laser engraving in general. It also mentions history of laser engraving, especially rise and development of the laser itself, laser engraving, as well as characteristics of laser engraving machines. A description of laser engraving machines parts and the working principles of laser technology as such are also included. All objects and materials suitable for laser engraving are also described is the thesis. Furthermore, comparison of laser engraving and other traditional methods of micro machining or surface treatment in general is depicted. In the practical part, thesis deals with the goal of finding the exact corrections on the laser engraving machine necessary to be made when using swing method. Major advantage of this method is its time saving ability during the engraving process, but the corrections mentioned above are needed as inaccuracies emerge due to the kinematics and dynamics of the machine. Last, but not least, ascertained corrections were plotted into a graph and a sample product was engraved using the corrections found.

This thesis deals with the origins of the modern prison system in czech lands at the first third of the 19th century. At first, the theoretical part of the thesis presents the opinions of the authors of existing literature. Afterthen it concentrates at the most famous reformers of criminal law and prison system. In the end it describes the criminal justice system and prison in Habsburg Monarchy. Practical part of the thesis is divided into three parts - punishment, prison and prisoner. The first part deals with the concept of the punishment and its purpose. It presents and analyzes crimes and punishments. The second part is focused on the prison and its functions. Was the purpose of the prison to punish or also to correct the prisoner? Which instruments served to correction of the prisoner? The thesis also compares the functioning of the prison and the other institution of detention - the workhouse. The last part is searching for the answers on this questions: How should the prison act on the prisoner's soul and body? What part did the punishments play within the prison and how should they be realized? The aim of the thesis is to try to capture, how did the new concepts of imprisonment show in the praxis of prison and how they act on organization of prison. Key words: punishment, prison, prisoner,...
